My story
Trained as visual artist, I gradually moved on to exploring the beauty of patterns and their ability to function both as artworks and as decorative objects. I am dedicated to creating unique artworks that enhance everyday spaces. Printing on paper and fabrics combines my love for drawing, printing and exploring shapes and forms that speak for themselves.
My process
Each artwork, either printed on paper or fabric involves various stages beginning with drawings with various mediums. After choosing a drawing, it is redrawn in a more simplified and stylised way. The final drawing is digitalised and tested for scale in order to function as a repeat pattern. I then transfer my design on linoleum or rubber plates and carve it. It is finally ready for the final stage: printing, using different types of paints while creating my own colour scheme.
